Going out/Staying in

This series of images captures intimate moments and candid encounters, documented through the lens of a point-and-shoot film camera. These photographs serve as visual snapshots of my experiences and relationships, offering glimpses into the lives of friends from my time living in London, England, and during travels abroad.

Shot on film, each image carries with it a sense of nostalgia and authenticity, capturing the raw essence of fleeting moments that might otherwise be forgotten. From impromptu gatherings in bustling London neighborhoods/parties to serendipitous encounters in far-flung destinations, these photographs reflect the beauty and spontaneity of human connection.

Through the simplicity of the point-and-shoot camera, I aim to capture the unfiltered reality of life as it unfolds, free from the constraints of posed compositions or staged settings. The resulting images are imbued with a sense of immediacy, inviting viewers to share in the warmth and camaraderie of shared experiences.

At its core, this body of work is a celebration of friendship, adventure, and the transformative power of travel. I invite viewers to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery—to immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of life captured through the lens of my point-and-shoot camera, and to revel in the joy and spontaneity of shared experiences and cherished moments.
